Product Review: SinfulShine with Gel Tech

Hi Y'all! I'm here with one last product review of something that I got in my SinKissed VoxBox. It's the SinfulShine with Gel Tech nail polish. I received one compliments of Influenster in Dark Room. It's a nice dark shade...actually it's black. There are 32 colors in this line. All of them are so pretty! Plus since they are available at Walgreens and Walgreens.com, they can be found and obtained easily! Because I'm not sure about everywhere else but Mobile, AL, has a Walgreens practically at every corner and some are open 24 hours! YAY! That means one could get polish at anytime day or night! And they are affordable at around $2.99 a bottle. Which isn't bad when you want quality on the cheap! Well anywho back to my review!

The polish itself was very thick unlike most of the other polish that I own. I still did two coats of polish but could have easily gotten away with one. It is a bit gloopy if you paint it on too thick but streaky if it's too thin. So I did two fairly decent layers to keep it from being gloopy and streaky. Plus with it being a dark color it wasn't hard to make sure that the entire nail was coated. I had to wait longer for it to dry because it was thicker but I was worth it. I really liked the finish of the polish. Their slogan of "SinfulShine with Gel Tech is 5x shinier than a patent leather shoe" is true. It had a nice shine to it that held even as the polished chipped from wear and tear. I'm rough on my nails so I put it to the test to see how long it would take before it needed to be redone. I've been moving stuff from one office building to another because of moving office location. I figured that my nails wouldn't last a day. It took about a week for it to show major signs of wear and chipping. I think I'll be buying more of this brand of polish from now on! And there are 31 more colors for me to try! The possibilities are endless!

Product Review: Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles

All righty then! It's time for another product review from me about something I got and tried in my SunKissed VoxBox. This time it's the pair of Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles. I was excited about this particular product because I, like most women, do own a lot of high heels and love wearing them. But I could not wear them as often as I wanted because my feet would hurt after wearing them for an extended period especially at functions like Mardi Gras balls, functions for church, parties, functions for the various organizations that me and my hubby are in. So when I saw these in my box, I was so happy and knew which pair of lovely heels I was going to put them in. I chose my red and black pumps that I got for Mardi Gras and really never get to wear because I couldn't wear them for long without my feet hurting a lot. So to try these out I made sure that whatever cute outfit I wore to a function that I would wear those heels with it.

So now for my review so far on this product:

I really like how they make my shoes comfy and I was able to wear my shoes all night at a function for my hubby's organization. I wanted to wear the shoes then because I knew that I would be on my feet a lot, walking around, and greeting everyone. I was not hurting and didn't want to sit a lot so I could say my hellos and make small talk. And as usual I was complimented on my choice of outfit and shoes. Most of the ladies couldn't believe that I could walk around in 6 inch heels and not be in pain. I felt like I was wearing flats because of the comfort level that I got from the insoles. Plus it did take care of the problem of the heels being a hair/touch/smidgen too big. I normally wear a US women's size 8.5 and the heels were a US women's size 9 (they were made sorta on the small side but not quite enough). I would buy more of these and put them in to each and every pair of heels that I own! I would buy more heels just to buy more of these insoles!

Recommendations:

1.) Be cautious because they will take up some room so if the shoes are already tight then these will make them tighter by a hair/touch/smidgen

2.) Make sure that you line up the heel part of the insert with the heel part of the shoe

3.) Make sure that you press down the insert firmly into shoe so it stays in place

4.) Make sure that there are no air bubbles and that the inserts are smoothly put in the shoes

5.) Be prepared for compliments and to never want to take your shoes off!

Product Review: Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

Hello again! Time for another product review! This time it's the Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics. I got these complimentary for testin and review purposes from Influenster.

To be honest I really like these a lot. They are not only cute but very functional. They don't pull or tug on my hair like normal hair elastics. They don't even leave the dreaded bump in the hair after you take it ou like most hair elastics. I really like that because I'm no longer forced to wear my hair up to a function after being at work all day. I have the option of wearing it how I want! I can wear my hair in a braid, a ponytail, a bun, or even a super messy bun-wannabe of a ponytail. I love it! Plus if I want to get more they are affordable!

This works in my hair because I have normal medium to fine hair. But it is a tad on the dry side so it just looks coarse and thick. But I have no issues with these unlike most of my hair ties! Try it out for yourself!

Product review: Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream}

Ok so when I got my VoxBox I got a tube of Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream}. I've heard of BB creams and was a bit skeptical at first. The tube said that it offers 6 skincare benefits in one step. I thought that it was a gimmick. That is until I started to use it. I noticed instantly a change in my complextion. My reddish cheeks softened and my skin tone evened out. I started to feel better because I looked a bit better.

Ok so what were those 6 benefits in that one step you ask... Well here they are:
1.) Refreshes- I looked like I spent time and money on my skin
2.) Brightens- I looked like I was glowing
3.) Evens Tone- I didn't have the really red cheeks and blotchy skin because of the sheer color coverage for instant skin-perfect coverage
4.) Hydrates- Even though I have oily/combination skin, it kept it hydrated all day long without making it more oily without oil or PABA.
5.) Smooths- I had super soft skin not the icky oily skin I normally have
